Report by Trentin Quarantino
It was around 2am when we got to bed last night, and I was in a strange reality where I was too tired to stay awake but not tired enough to sleep. so I was almost falling asleep and then jerking awake, and repeat, and repeat again.
This, completely understandably, annoyed Harley, so I went into the kitchen for a while to give her time to get to sleep, and by the time I felt tired enough to maybe sleep properly myself it was 7am. Working nights does wonders for your body clock!
My alarm went off at 9am as we had plans to venture outside today, but Harley makes it clear she wants to sleep longer because some stupid fat ape (my description, not hers) kept her awake half the night, so we both ignore the alarms and go back to sleep for a few more hours.
Once we're properly awake I get to work on trying to get up to date on the blog while Harley sets about making some new masks. Neither of us is particularly motivated to do anything, but once we get started we make steady progress.
At around 6pm we decide we're hungry, and set about finding some food to order online. I had planned to do this yesterday, but didn't, so today we're treating ourselves to food cooked by someone else. We order a couple of pork knees and half a duck - which we know is probably more than we're going to be able to manage today, but at least it means we'll have food tomorrow too.
Once the food arrives we eat what we can and save the rest for tomorrow, then Harley finishes off her new masks while I sit and read for a while. And then we watch the Australian idiots throw 100,000 easter eggs off a tower, and a few more of their videos, before heading for a reasonably early night - tomorrow we are definitely going out to the forest. We both need to have that fresh air boost.
